Gold futures displayed uptrend during the second half of trading on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) Monday, while silver moved slightly up. Prices of the bullion in the global market traded bullish. Overseas spot gold currently traded at USD 1,493.95/oz, up 8.20.MCX gold, most active August contract traded at Rs 21,725/10 gm, up Rs 30 and fluctuated between Rs 21,758- 21,711/10gm. Volume was 7,279 lots.Gold mini, most active August contract traded at Rs 21,744/10 gm, up Rs 35 and fluctuated between Rs 21,766- 21,720/10gm. Volume was 13,246 lots.
